Fine initiative!
As an old time member of NKS, I hope this becomes an inspiration for the webmaster of nordiskkaktusselskab.dk rather than just a competing forum.

My name is Krister, me and my wife are devoted cacti collectors. We live in southern Sweden, in the county Skåne, once we belonged to Denmark it was for some 300 years ago. Many people still feels that they are more Danish than Swedish, we do. The climate here is god in the summer but wet and cold in the winter, so the cacti has to be kept in the greenhouse. Some cacti can be out in the summer, but most of them we keep in the greenhouse.
Once or twice a year we travel by car to Holland and Belgium to buy cacti. It's very interesting to visit the nursery's and see their private collections. One of our favorites is Paul & Mary Hoogvliet’s nursery in Westvoorne, Holland, here we find many god plants, reasonably priced. It's also nice to have a chat with Paul and Mary. Another place to visit are Aad Vijverberg Nursery in Honselerdijk, Holland. Aad’s private collection of full size plants is staggering and the plants offered for sale is the most competitively priced. Here we also get a god chat with Aad. At Ward Verschueren's nursery, Cactus Flower, in Rumst, Belgium we find very nice columnar cacti and also other cacti.
There is almost no Cacti-Nursery's in Sweden. My wife started one in April 2006, BuyCacti Nursery http://www.buycacti.com the other one is Wermland Dessert Plants http://www.wermlanddesertplants.se Because our cacti collecting and raising seedlings get bigger and bigger we got to many plants to keep for ourself. Now when we can get rid of our surplus plants, we can saw more seeds. I really like to grow and propagate cacti, it's quite interesting plants.
