As far as I know the buttons that will give you "Emoticons" and bold/ italic/ underscore do not work for me. I have to do that manually now 
And I don't get notified about replies by mail even when I check the box  |

Try now, you don't see the Emotion in edit mode, just the code for it. The Bold for example you mark the text and lick on the B , then you will see a b in brackets.
When you save then you see the graphic version. 
You can switch to a better WYSIWYG editor. It takes some extra time to load, thts up to you to decide. Look in your control panel for this setting. |

I cant get it to work, and I don't know how I can get another editor  There are nothing about an editor in my control panel  |

The setting for Editor: Member -> Control Panel -> Edit ->Update Your Profile now you select the Contact Info tab, furthest down you se User Editor.
I will check further on this problem.

Hi, are you using QuickReplay, then you don't have the sybols to click at. Under ths editor window the message is Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable
